Description

The Queen of Calitzdorp is located just off the famous R62 in Calitzdorp, a mere 30 minutes' drive from Oudtshoorn, a 90 minutes' drive from George and three-and-a-half hours from Cape Town.

The main house comprises 8 bedrooms, while an additional 6 rooms are available in our winelands facing the annex. Rooms on offer include the Standard-, Superior-, Exclusive- and Family room. Most rooms have balconies. All rooms are tastefully decorated and equipped with air-conditioning, fridges, DStv, tea- and coffee-making facilities, hairdryer, electronic safe, and en-suite bathrooms fitted with showers.

Breakfast is served in the dining room or in the beautiful garden. The lounge has a warm and inviting fireplace with complimentary access to the Wi-Fi network, available in all areas. Many indigenous plants can be seen along the path to the swimming pool. Secure parking is available for both cars and tour buses.

The establishment is situated in the center of Calitzdorp, within walking distance of Boplaas, De Krans, and Calitzdorp Cellars wineries as well as restaurants. Day tours can be arranged to popular tourist attractions in the area, including Seweweekspoort, Die Hel, Prince Albert, De Rust, Cango Caves, and working ostrich farms.
