Description
The Starling is a beautiful double-storey self-catering house located in the tranquil Shelley Point Golf Estate, nestled in the peaceful surroundings of the well-known fishing village of St Helena Bay. The estate is surrounded by three stunning beaches: Stompneusbaai, Shelley Beach, and the popular Britannia Beach, making it the perfect spot for a relaxing getaway. The house is ideal for families wanting a break or a group of friends looking to unwind.
The house accommodates up to 8 guests and features 4 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, a guest toilet, and a spacious open-plan kitchen, dining, and living area. Upstairs, you’ll find the main bedroom, which includes a queen-size bed, a TV, and an open-plan en suite bathroom with a bath, shower, and twin washbasins. The room opens to a private balcony through cascading stacker doors, while an office area leads off the main bedroom, offering a quiet space for work or relaxation. The open-plan living area includes a well-equipped kitchen with a fridge-freezer, stove and oven, microwave, and a scullery with a washing machine. The lounge area offers comfortable seating, a TV, and an indoor gas fireplace, while the dining area features an 8-seater table with cascading stacker doors opening onto two balconies. One of the balconies includes an undercover built-in braai, perfect for outdoor entertaining. Wi-Fi is available throughout the house.
Downstairs, there are three additional bedrooms and two bathrooms. The second bedroom contains two single beds, and the third bedroom has a queen-size bed. These two rooms share a full bathroom with a bath, shower, toilet, and washbasin. The fourth bedroom features a queen-size bed and a private en suite bathroom with a shower, toilet, and washbasin.
Guests also have access to the Shelley Point Community Center and its excellent facilities, including a bistro, bar, and a newly constructed swimming pool. For entertainment and outdoor activities, guests can enjoy the putt-putt course, play turf, and volleyball court, ensuring fun for both adults and children alike.
