The Station Calitzdorp is situated amongst the vineyards of the De Krans cellars and a cliff.
Accommodation is offered in a 2- or 4-sleeper refurbished Ticket Office, a variety of structured tents, or camping stands. Ticket Office 1 is furnished with 2 single beds or a king-size bed, an en-suite bathroom with a shower, toilet and basin, and tea- and coffee- making facilities. Ticket Office 2 is furnished with 4 single beds or 2 king-size beds, and tea- and coffee- making facilities.
The structured tents are ideal for those who enjoy camping without the effort. Each of the tents is furnished with 2 single beds that can be converted into a king-size bed on request. The private, shaded campsites offer power and water points.
All guests have access to communal ablution facilities which are fitted with showers and toilets, and a communal kitchen which is equipped with a fridge-freezer, a gas stove, tea- and coffee-making facilities, as well as braai facilities and braai grids.
The Station offers a swimming pool for the hot days, a licensed bar, as well as facilities for parties, weddings, and workshops, and is situated within 1 km of the centre of town and its various shops and restaurants.
Calitzdorp is situated on Route 62, and offers visitors a variety of vineyards and wine cellars, attractions, as well as walking and 4x4 trails.
