The Station Master’s House is a rustic and charming off-the-grid farmhouse located in the heart of the Karoo. This home was the residence of the Potfontein Station Master and is now a great option for a family seeking a peaceful getaway in this historically rich town of De Aar.
This farmhouse can comfortably accommodate up to 8 guests at a time and comprises 3 bedrooms and a bathroom. The first bedroom is furnished with a queen-size bed and a single bed, the second bedroom has 2 single beds and the third bedroom contains 3 single beds. A shower, washbasin and toilet are available in the bathroom.
The living area features a kitchen fully equipped with a gas stove and oven, fridge-freezer, cutlery and crockery as well as tea- and coffee-making facilities. The cosy lounge has comfortable seating where guests can relax with a book. Complementary Wi-Fi is available in the home too.
Additionally, this home has an indoor braai room with a dining table where guests can enjoy their meals together while enjoying quality time with one another. The property also has an outdoor boma with a central firepit. Guests are afforded secure parking on the property.
