Thornsprings is situated less than 30 km from Middelburg in the Eastern Cape and offers quality accommodation for families and friends. The farmhouse was built with beautifully cut, tawny sandstone in the style of Herbert Baker. Its thick walls and high ceilings render the rooms cool in scorching summer days and warm when cold nights set in.
This house sleeps 15 guests and has 6 bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms. The first bedroom has a queen-size bed, a single bed and an en-suite bathroom with a shower. The second bedroom has a queen-size bed and an en-suite bathroom with a shower. The third and fourth bedroom each have a king-size bed and an en-suite bathroom with a bathtub. The fourth bedroom also has an outdoor shower. The fifth bedroom has a king-size bed, a single bed and an en-suite bathroom with a bath and shower. The sixth bedroom has 3 single beds and an en-suite bathroom with a shower.
The self-catering kitchen is equipped with a refrigerator, gas oven and stove, microwave, and a cool room. Indoor braai facilities are available.
