Uitvlugt Ponds is on a farm that is situated 17 km from the beautiful town of Dullstroom.
Accommodation is provided in 2 self-catering units that use solar power and spring water. It overlooks the trout dams, game and beautiful surroundings.
Evening Rise Cottage has a private entrance, double beds and single beds, and a private bathroom. Extra blankets are available for convenience. The unit has a kitchen that is equipped with a stove, a microwave, and a fridge, as well as tea-and-coffee-making facilities, and meals can be enjoyed in the dining area. The unit opens onto a stoep, and braai facilities, as well as parking are available. A crate of wood is provided. Evening Rise Cottage also has a fireplace for the chillier days.
Lake View Cottage is a spacious cottage that comprises 3 en-suite rooms and a loft. The cottage has an indoor braai and fireplace ideal for those cold nights in Dullstroom. The first bedroom has a king-size bed. The second and third bedrooms have queen-size beds that can be converted to 2 single beds. The loft room has space for 4 guests. Extra blankets are available. Each en-suite bathroom is fitted with a shower, a basin and a toilet. The kitchen is equipped with a stove, microwave, fridge, and tea- and coffee-making facilities and meals can be enjoyed in the dining area. The cottage leads out onto a verandah with braai facilities. Secure parking is also provided.
The farm offers 2 Ama Poot-Poot walking routes, and guests can go cycling, flyfishing, bass fishing, swimming or bird watching. The farm also has various rivers, dams and waterfalls and a variety of birds and game can be seen.
