Description

Overlooking the Breede River and surrounded by indigenous Milkwood trees, Under Milkwood Cottage is a cosy stone and thatch cottage which allows for the perfect home away from home in the coastal town of Witsand. This is ideal for a group of friends as it is situated a dune away from the beach and within close proximity to Witsand Nature Reserve.

This double-storey property can accommodate a maximum of 8 guests at a time and comprises 4 bedrooms. The main bedroom is situated downstairs and is furnished with a queen-size bed. A bath, washbasin and toilet are available in the main en-suite bathroom. There is a second bedroom situated downstairs which also has a queen-size bed and bathroom with shower in passage. There are 2 additional suites that are accessed from the outside and each contains 2 single beds and features en-suite bathrooms fitted with showers.

The open-plan living area is upstairs and features tall ceilings and a kitchen fully equipped with a stove, oven, microwave, fridge-freezer, dishwasher, cutlery and crockery. The cosy lounge has comfy seating, a fireplace and a flat-screen Smart TV where guests can log in to their own streaming channels. During load shedding, the TV and complimentary Wi-Fi is connected to a UPS so guests can continue viewing when the power is out.

Additionally, the house features an indoor braai area with another dining table and opens up onto a spacious wooden deck with outdoor seating. Guests can walk along the river to the public jetty, where they can fish or launch a boat on a hot summer day.
