Tranquil and secure.

We rented out the whole house and travelled with teens and kids. We found Waterberg INN well appointed, maintained and serviced on a tranquil eco estate, but with all the modern conveniences and security. Friendly neighbours and townsfolk as well. We woke up every morning to the resident herds of antelope freely grazing in the front yard and even a tortoise who came by for a visit. It has it's own "thousand acre wood", by that I mean 1000 acre game reserve, with quite a variety of animals like wildebeest, impala, warthog, giraffe and for the big boys, some pretty cool 4x4 tracks and crossings for the amateur 4x4er. There are many game reserves and activities with a 150 km radius as well and we where chuffed to see black rhino very up close and personal at the cheapest park - the recently re-opened D'Nyala National Park in the Waterberg biosphere. Lizelle was brilliant as a host, very warm, friendly and accommodating and Annetjie the domestic helper was super efficient and friendly. We travel and holiday as a group at least once a year and with out a doubt this one of the most memorable. I cannot recommend enough!
