Description
Waterfall House is a charming house situated in the upmarket Walkerson’s Private Estate, just outside the little town of Dullstroom, offering guests spacious and comfortable self-catering accommodation. The house offers unparalleled privacy and stunning views of the waterfall and valley, providing a perfect setting to unwind and relax in comfort and style.
The house consists of 5 bedrooms and 5 bathrooms, which can comfortably accommodate up to 10 guests. Four bedrooms are each furnished with 2 single beds that can be converted into a king-size bed, while the remaining bedroom is furnished with a king-size bed. Each bedroom includes an en-suite bathroom fitted with a bath and a shower, or a shower only.
The open-plan kitchen is equipped with a fridge-freezer, microwave, oven, gas stove, cutlery, crockery, and tea- and coffee-making facilities. The scullery is equipped with a dishwasher, tumble dryer, and washing machine. The living area includes a spacious lounge with a fireplace, TV, and a 10-seater dining table. The entertainment area includes an indoor braai and fireplace, a TV with a full DStv package, and a pool table.
The large stack doors again open onto the decked patio, boasting a 10-seater table, sun loungers, and a swing chair to relax and enjoy the view. The house includes a separate guest toilet, solar and battery backup, Wi-Fi in main areas, a double carport, daily wood and firelighter supply, fly fishing permits, and daily housekeeping.
The estate features beautifully manicured grounds, a lush mountain reserve, paved walking paths, and 11 well-stocked trout dams. Additional amenities include a helipad and an airstrip. Activities available on the estate include fly fishing, walking, hiking, birdwatching, and cycling.
