Witgatboom is located in a wildlife camp on a working sheep and game farm in the heart of the Upper Karoo, between Hopetown, Orania, and Strydenburg. A 40 km gravel road leads from the N12 to the property, so a bakkie or SUV is recommended.
Experience breathtaking sunsets, starry skies, peace, and the stillness of nature. With a bit of luck, you may spot sable, golden wildebeest, blue wildebeest, gemsbok, red hartebeest, and bontebok roaming the farm.
Ideal for an overnight stop or a relaxing weekend getaway, Witgatboom Accommodation is a self-catering house that sleeps up to 4 guests. It features 2 bedrooms, 1 bathroom, and an open-plan kitchen and living area. The first bedroom has a double bed, while the second bedroom has 2 single beds. The bathroom is fitted with a shower, toilet, and basin.
The kitchen is equipped with a 2-plate gas stove, fridge-freezer, cutlery and crockery, and a breakfast counter with stools. Power is supplied via solar energy. Stacking doors open onto an outdoor area with a firepit braai, perfect for evenings under the stars.
