Aan de Doorns

Located on the R43 between Worcester and Villiersdorp, lies one of the largest wine farms within Worcester, the wine estate of Aan de Doorns, which was established in 1955. They have a large function venue available for hire, and brides-to-be looking for a wedding venue are often delighted at the gorgeous setting with an endless green vineyard in the background, and mountains wreathed with clouds rising in the distance.

Here, visitors can sample some of the award-winning wines, from Chenin Blanc to semi-sweet white, and Pinotage to Muskadel, while drinking in the atmosphere and country charm. The employees are quite knowledgeable about the wine-making process and a walk around the lush vineyards is always enchanting. The wine tastings run during week days from 8am – 5pm, though during the harvest season, this can be done by appointment only. They have joined the First Cape Wines group, and export a majority of their produce to the United Kingdom, as well as sell it locally.
