Aardklop Arts Festival

Description

The Aardklop Arts Festival is a predominantly Afrikaans annual performing arts festival held in the serene city of Potchefstroom in the North West province of South Africa. Established in 1998, the festival brings people from all corners of the earth to celebrate in a mutual passion for art, music, theatre, comedy, food, drama, literature, and more!

There is a wide variety on offer for festival-goers, from huge concerts at the new festival grounds to an outstanding theatre programme, and other fantastic shows held in various venues in and around the town. A large craft market also forms part of the event, drawing crowds of more than 150,000 people every year. And remember, every year is different, so you’re ensured something new each time you go!
