Alexander Road High School is a public co-ed high school in Port Elizabeth, Eastern Cape. The school placed 15th in the top secondary schools in South Africa by the Allan Gray Orbis Foundation in 2013. Alexander Road High School caters for learners from Grade 8 to Grade 12.

HERITAGE

Alexander Road High School was established in January 1955 with 155 students and 5 teachers on the grounds of Andrew Rabie High School. The school moved to its current location in 1956.

ACADEMICS

The school prides itself on its commitment to maintaining a warm, family identity. The school motto is Ni Sine Labore which means “nothing worthwhile is achieved without effort”.
