Ashton Steam Locomotive
Description
The Ashton Steam Locomotive, also known as the Aston Steam Train, is a popular landmark along Route 62 in the Western Cape. Its a great stop off for visitors travelling with young children who need to let off some of their own steam. While the train is cordoned off by a chain fence, you can still get close enough to take plenty of photos. Afterwards, you can spend some time browsing Platform 62 with its furniture selection, wine boutique, and restaurant.
