Bientang's Cave is an award winning restaurant carved into the depths of a century old cave on the edge of the ocean in Hermanus, Western Cape. Overlooking Walker Bay, Bientang’s Cave is known as the best whale watching restaurant in the world where diners can enjoy dolphin and whale watching right from their table in season (June – November).

Like many of the restaurants in Hermanus, Bientang’s Cave specialises in seafood, with fresh line fish, oysters, calamari, prawns, crayfish, and other underwater delicacies. They also have meat, poultry, and vegetarian alternatives on the menu. Be sure to try their dessert, Bientang’s Dream, which consists of a tot of Franjelico and Amarula served over crushed ice.
