Danger Beach

Description

Danger Beach is a quiet beach situated conveniently close to St. James train station in the False Bay area of Cape Town. The small strip of beach is accessed through a subway beneath the railway and although it doesn’t boast much in terms of amenities, it offers a relaxed atmosphere and great waves for body surfing. There is a small tidal pool located to the one side which is great for bathing with small children, and the warmer waters of the Indian Ocean make for pleasant swims. The small fishing village of Kalk Bay is just a short walk along the main road and offers a variety of restaurants and shops.
