Daniell Cheetah Breeding Project

Description

The Daniell Cheetah Breeding Project is a wonderful non-profit organisation that aims to conserve the magnificent cheetah species. Established in May 2001 with just 3 big cats, the park is now home to numerous rescued big cats, including cheetah, lion, leopard, serval, blackfooted cat, and caracal. Visitors can enjoy a close and personalised experience with these often feared big cats by doing a tour or interactive cheetah walk.

The aim of the organisation is to take part in the conservation of the cheetah, to establish pure gene lines, as well as to educate people about the importance of conserving these magnificent species. The cats at the park are able to roam freely in a protected environment. Visitors can enjoy stroking the cheetahs, as well as feeding the tame kudu and springbok.
