Description
Deluxe Coffeeworks is a superb coffee roastery with a rock ‘n roll atmosphere – no frills, no fuss. They’re absolute rule breakers when it comes to their coffee, and it’s no surprise they have a cult following. Alternative people flock to this coffee shop where it seems the pre-requisite for landing a job is to have colourful Mohawks, tattoos, and piercings.
The interior is always busy and noisy, with plenty of machinery, bikes on the walls, and futuristic art. They roast all of their coffee themselves (5 tons a month!) and they’re environmentally conscious – donating their hessian bags to be upcycled into clothing and cushions, and their coffee grounds to the city for fertilisation.
