Fourth Raadsaal
Description
The Fourth Raadsaal is the fourth building to have been built by the old republic of the Orange Free State. Located opposite the Court of Appeal, it is one of the finest buildings in the city. The foundation stone was laid by President F.W Reitz in 1890 and the building was completed in 1893. This Renaissance style building has red brick exterior, a prominent dome, and a portico of Ionic columns. Today, the building houses the Free State Provincial legislature.
