The Golden Horse Casino is situated in Pietermaritzburg, the capital city of KwaZulu-Natal, and is featured in the Guinness Book of Records for having the largest horse statue in the world. This 14m Pegasus greets visitors to the casino, while sixteen additional Tang horses line the path to the entrance. The casino, situated on Scottsville Racecourse, is one of only two casinos in the world to be situated on a racecourse.
