Johannesburg Planetarium

Description

The Johannesburg Planetarium is located at the University of the Witwatersrand in Milner Park, Johannesburg. Enjoy a tour of the stars and constellations with various shows tailored to suit all ages. Tickets are available a half hour before the show and there is no need to book, unless you have a group of 20 people or more. The planetarium has space for 400 people.

Shows

• The Sky Tonight (teenagers and up)
  A 1-hour tour of the stars and constellations of our current evening skies. This show is updated as the seasons change.

• Space Travel ( 5 – 8 years)
  Travel with Thomas the astronomer in his giant rocket to the game reserve, then on to the moon and beyond!
