Kap River Nature Reserve
Description
The Kap River Nature Reserve is situated between the Kap River and Great Fish River, 28km from Port Alfred in the Eastern Cape. The 670 hectare reserve is filled with lush sub-tropical forest, dense foliage, and beautiful two rivers, providing a home to over 300 species of birds, including African finfoot, heron, martial eagle, hornbill, crowned eagle, and fish eagle. The reserve is also home to game like zebra, giraffe, red hartebeest, impala, duiker, and bushbuck.
