Kyalami Equestrian Park

Description

Kyalami Equestrian Park is home to the Gauteng Horse Society and is one of South Africa's primary equestrian venues for championship shows. The Bob Charter Arena is the venue for holding major events including the South African Derby. Here you can watch SA's top riders compete for the trophy on the magnificent Derby course.

Within this beautiful country location, which covers 21 hectares, you will find a clubhouse with a fully license bar and 8 competition arenas for use by all disciplines (such as dressage, driving, equitation, eventing, para equestrian, jumping, showing, and vaulting). There is also a marathon driving course with professionally constructed hazards and quality dressage arenas, stabling facilities for visiting horses, as well as an exercise track. GHS leases part of Kyalami Equestrian Park to the famous dancing white stallions of Kyalami, known as the Lipizzaners.
