Luphisi 4x4 Route
Description
The Luphisi 4x4 trail starts from the Mthethomusha Tented Camp and enters the rural area of Luphisi and Nzikazi, Mpumalanga. The trail is an exciting mix of scenery and local cultural activities, and takes between 6 and 8 hours to complete.
The route is not too difficult, followed with sand, rocks, river crossings and the magnificent climb up a huge granite boulder for the midday break and picnic. A section of the route is along the border of the Kruger National Park. It is deal for tree and bird spotting with the family.
