Maria Shires Falls
Description
Maria Shires Falls is a waterfall situated along the “Waterfalls Tour†on the Panorama Route in Mpumalanga.
Other waterfalls include the Horseshoe Falls, Lone Creek Falls, Bridal Veil Falls, MacMac Falls, Lisbon Falls, and the Berlin Falls. This roundtrip of under 100km shows the best waterfalls in this old gold-mining region. Being along the escarpment of the Drakensberg mountains, this region has a higher density of waterfalls than anywhere else in Southern Africa.
