Description

Peter Toerien’s Montecasino Theatre is one of Johannesburg’s most well-loved playhouses, featuring productions for 52 weeks a year. Established in 2000, the theatre has hosted performances such as Defending the Caveman, Death of a Salesman, Evita, and Joseph and the Amazing Technicolour Dreamcoat.

• Main Theatre: seating 400 people (2 adaptable seats for a wheelchair) • Studio Theatre: seating 150 people (no disabled access) • Restaurants, bars, a cinema, casino, and more in the Montecasino complex
