The hospital is located in Sisson Street in Mthatha in the Eastern Cape Province and is easily accessible from the N2 High way and the R61 Main road. The hospital is located in the Western part of Mthatha in Fort Gale. Mthata is situated 98.6km South of Mount Frere on the N2 and 83.8km East of Ngcobo on the R61.
