Peoples Theatre is a wonderful children’s theatre located in the Joburg Theatre Complex, previously known as the Johannesburg Civic Centre, in Johannesburg, Gauteng. The theatre is South Africa’s flagship theatre for young people and stages over 8 productions a year. Children are inspired and entertained by the power of theatre, where a storybook comes to life through the use of elaborate sets, costumes, sound, lighting, and professional actors.
