Description

The Red Dragon is an authentic Chinese restaurant and sushi bar at Chameleon Village, a market and shopping complex near the Damdoryn crossroads in Hartbeespoort, North West. Take a short stroll through the market, along the paved pathways past other outdoor restaurants, and you’ll soon spot the wooden pillars and bright red walls of this fantastic Chinese eatery.

The setting is lovely and the twisting tree trunk in the centre of the restaurant makes an interesting focal point. The service can be a bit slow, but the food is outstanding and well worth the wait. The beef with Black Bean Sauce and the Sweet and Sour pork are just two of the highly recommended dishes – especially when paired with some great South African wines. Their sushi menu has also proven to be a popular choice. The restaurant also has a licenced bar if you only have time to pop in for a drink.
