Seal Point
Description
Seal Point is a wild, beautiful and unspoilt spot at the end of the road after driving through Cape St Francis to the lighthouse. The spot is especially popular among surfers with great surf, rock pools, a beautiful beach, and a bay that is ideal for swimming and body-boarding.
At the point there is the lighthouse which one can visit and climb to the top. Beside the lighthouse, there is a penguin sanctuary for injured birds as well as a coffee shop. Spending some time at Seal Point is recommended, where the fresh sea air and the pounding of the surf provides a sense of calm. Dolphins and whales can be spotted here.
