Southport Beach
Description
Southport Beach is a Blue Flag beach that lies just 8km north of Port Shepstone, nestled between Sunwich Port and Southport, on the KwaZulu-Natal South Coast. Like many other typical resort towns on this stretch of coast, Anerley is all about the beach and making the most of the sunshine.
The beach is largely secluded and un-commercialised, which is great if you’re after some quiet time. It offers several shady areas that are ideal for family holidays. The beach is popular for sun tanning, deep sea fishing, diving, and snorkelling.
