Unveiled in 2012, The Soweto Theatre is a multi-purpose centre for the performing arts located in Jabulani, Soweto, in the Gauteng province of South Africa. What makes this theatre so special is its incredible design and colours that attracts locals and international visitors alike to share in the joy of post-apartheid South Africa. Dedicated to the arts, this community theatre is a piece of artwork in itself, with 3 impressive indoor venues and a covered outdoor venue for informal shows. Productions include theatre, music, and dance, along with festivals, conferences, meetings, and more. The main theatre has 450 seats.
