St Cyprian's Senior School is a leading Anglican independent school for girls on the slopes of Table Mountain in Oranjezicht, Cape Town. The high school caters for girls from Grade 8 to Grade 12 while a pre-school and a preparatory school caters for younger girls. St Cyprian's Senior School is recognised as one of the leading private girls’ schools in Cape Town. Boarding facilities are available for 100 girls.
HERITAGE
The school was founded by Bishop Robert Gray in 1871 as the school for daughters of clergy whose sons already attended the Diocesan School for Boys in Rondebosch, on what has become known as Cape Town’s slave route. St Cyprian's School is a founder member of Round Square Conference of Schools in Southern Africa, a prestigious association of over 65 international schools all over the world which strives to provide learners with exceptional opportunities for personal development, leadership and internationalism.
