St Martin's School
Description
St Martin's School is a private co-ed school in Rosettenville, Johannesburg. The school caters for Grade RRR to Grade 12 and currently has 650 students. The senior school has the only co-ed independent boarding school facility in southern Johannesburg.
HERITAGE
Founded in 1958 by the Anglican Church, St Martin's School dates back to the foundation of St Agnes School. In 1911, St Peter’s Priory and College were added, offering a boarding high school for young men from all over South Africa.
ACADEMICS
In addition to the traditional subjects, the school also offers classes in Portuguese and French. St Martin's is known for its excellent academic achievements, which is portrayed in the school motto “I do not shirk work”. The 2014 Matrics obtained a 100% pass rate.
