Tokara Winery
Description
Tokara winery is situated towards the top of the Helshoogte Pass, about 5km from the historic winemaking and university town of Stellenbosch. The estate consistently receives high praise from the John Platter South African Wines guide, scoring five starts for its Tokara White 2007.
The Tokara restaurant, which is located on the estate, serves modern South African food with a heavy French influence. The style of the restaurant is relaxed and calm, and guests can enjoy scenic views of the surrounding area.
The restaurant is also a popular venue for wedding receptions and corporate events, with a total seating of 110 people.
