Treverton College
Description
Treverton College is an independent co-ed school on a 270 hectare campus in the KwaZulu-Natal Midlands. The Christian school caters for learners from Grade 000 to Grade 12 and post Matric. Treverton College is a member of the Independent Schools Association of Southern Africa.
HERITAGE
Treverton College was established in 1939. It was refurbished in 1964 and opened with 51 students with Derek Hudson-Reed as headmaster. The Mooi River Municipality donated 73 acres of adjoining land and a neighbouring farm was purchased to establoish a high school.
ACADEMICS
The school motto is Super Astra Spero which means “Reach Beyond the Stars”.
