Description

The Cape Gliding Club is located at Worcester Airfield, about 120km from Cape Town, in the popular Breede River Valley. The climate and the surrounding mountains allow for a spectacular gliding experience.

An experienced team of tug pilots and instructors offer their time and skills to the club free of charge, so that the club is able to provide good rates to beginners and advanced students. The club has over 100 members and a club fleet of two tugs, a Scheibe Rotax-Falke motor glider, two single-seated and four two-seater pure gliders, there are over 40 privately owned gliders and motor gliders. Temporary memberships are on offer to visitors.
