Zimbali Beach

Description

Zimbali Beach is a lovely beach located in the 925 hectare coastal estate of Zimbali, just 20 minutes north of Durban in KwaZulu-Natal. Nestled between beautiful beaches and coastal forest, Zimbali is an outdoor enthusiast’s dream, providing a mix of nature and leisure.

Zimbali gets its name from the Zulu language which translates to “Valley of Flowers”. This name is pretty accurate, as the landscape consists largely of spectacular subtropical vegetation. Considered part of the Zimbali Coastal Estate, Zimbali Beach is a 3km stretch of pristine sand and deep blue water which is warm enough for all sorts of water activities. The beach is the perfect place for scenic beach horse rides, walks, fishing, as well as dolphin and whale watching.
