Zuid-Afrikaans Hospital is a private hospital in Pretoria, Gauteng. The hospital was established in 1904 as a 6 bed nursing facility in the home of General CF Beyers in Sunnyside. Today the hospital has 134 beds. Hospital facilities include 3 Adult general wards as well as a children’s ward. The hospital also has a 24 hour emergency unit.

GETTING THERE

The hospital is located at 255 Bourke Street, Muckleneuk in Pretoria in the Gauteng Province. Nearby main roads are the M11 to the North, the M9 to the East, the M7 to the South and the M5 and M3 to the West of the hospital.

PAYMENT

The Zuid-Afrikaans Hospital charges private and medical aid patients according to tariffs negotiated with the various medical aids. If private patients pay by cash or cheque, a 5% discount is given on accommodation and theatre charges.

Private patients who do not belong to a medical aid will need to pay a deposit. - This can be paid by cash, cheque or credit card
