Gerriline is originally from Vredendal on the border of the Namaqualand, but is now settled in the suburbs of Bloubergstrand. She studied BA Law at Stellenbosch University, where the Afrikaans & Dutch Department fed her passion for the Afrikaans language, literature and culture. After finishing an honours degree in Afrikaans & Dutch in 2017, Gerriline bid adieu to her student life in the Cape Winelands and now enjoys her life in the Mother City.
