The long wait is nearly over! After appearing in Joburg for the first time, the Festival of Beer is heading back to its roots in the Mother City for the 4th edition of the Cape Town Festival of Beer!
Taking over Hamilton’s Rugby Club in Green Point from 22 – 24 November 2013, the festival will have free samples of 200 local and international beers, brewing demos, best beer awards, food and beer pairings, wine options, guided beer tours, fantastic prizes and beer hampers, food stalls, live entertainment, kiddies play areas with child minders, and – for the first time ever – a Giant Beer Pong Tournament!
And we’re giving away 2 sets of double tickets!
The festival tickets are valid for the Friday or Sunday, so pop over to the competition app on our Facebook page and let us know what day you’d like to go. Then start practicing your giant beer pong skills! Winners will be announced on Friday, 15 November 2013.

- Tickets cost R120 or R100 for students. Tickets are available from Webtickets. Pre-sale tickets include a beer glass.

Enter the Giant Beer Pong Tournament
Unlike traditional beer pong, Giant Beer Pong consists of giant balls that will need to be thrown into giant cups measuring 1.5m high. If you think you have the brains and brawn to back you, then grab your tickets, your mates, and enter a team on the Facebook page now!
