"Umhlanga has nice places for business or leisure travel. Great for birding and beach activities."
"Durban is a nice place to visit especially with family, but only when you have good places to stay in."
"Stay in Durban was good. Despite the fact that planned accommodation did not work out."
"The taxi drivers here in Durban are on a next level. They drive as if they have extra lives and do not have consideration for anyone else. Reflects directly on our failing justice system. Beaches are dirty."
"We went to South Beach, the place is not the same. It didn't feel safe to walk around, which was confirmed by an owner of a stall. He told us to pack away our valuables. The beachfront didn't look the same, some places were deserted, pools were empty."
Daar is 'n merkbare verandering sodra jy Durban verlaat, hetsy kuslangs (Noord of Suid) of na die Midlands toe."
"I would not recommend Durban at all but, La Lucia, Durban North, and Umhlanga are world-class destinations."
"Brighton Beach has plastic straws and plastic everywhere. Could do with a clean-up. Bluff Nature Reserve's walking signage is inadequate, park has plastic washed through the reserve by floods. Needs a clean-up of all plastic waste. Street lights on the Brighton Beach promenade are inoperative due to vandalisation."
