St Lucia Estuary, Elephant Coast
St Lucia Ocean View Lodge"Dit bied 'n wonderlike natuurervaring - enig in sy soort."
"I have been to Sodwana Bay a few times and I love the place. There seems to be only one lekker restaurant and as we are not drinkers we didn't think there was enough catering for this (but this we knew). I do not think that the Sodwana Bay website gives a great representation and looks out of date. I also thing that should you want to attract international business that you might want to look at this as well as the mobi-site. I would love to see more activity on land on their website as well as some of the people we were with don't dive. Maybe some one can work with the local community to do guided cultural walks. "

57 Pelican Street"There are Lots of interesting things to do, like fishing trips on the Ocean, snorkeling adventures and game drives. The Crocodile sanctuary was also very interesting. However, there are some disappointing factors, to be considered as well. The 4 ATM counters in Town are either not working, or have no money available, therefore one stands in queues at the only bank in town. This makes it very difficult, as some businesses insist on cash. Plus it is a very long walk to the beach. Monkeys can be a nuisances as well. "

Ndiza Lodge and Cabanas"They are now working at the riverbanks and the plan is to connect the Umfulozi river to the Estuary. This should be finished around June and the Estuary should be connected to the sea again. I'm afraid of the influence to nature by this, as I didn't see one Hippo in 3 days."

"I'd only recommend Hluhluwe to people looking for a quiet stay away from to noisy city and the rush. The main site seeing would be the game reserves. The boat rides and beaches are much further away in St Lucia if you don't mind the drive."

Budget Tented Village @ Urban Glamping"St. Lucia is not a place to visit for more than a day, except if you have a boat. The sea is a bit far from the town if you do not have a vehicle. The area and surrounding nature is very beautiful."
"The game reserve is awesome - we saw plenty of animals. The picnic spots are well maintained. False Bay is disappointing as there are no facilities, yet an entrance fee is charged. The lake is beautiful. "
