Description

Triton Dive Charters & Lodge is situated in Sodwana Bay on KwaZulu Natal's North Coast and offers accommodation in a natural pine forest, just far enough off the beaten track to ensure peace and tranquillity.

The lodge features double chalets, some en-suite, and 2-bedroom self-catering units, all designed for privacy and spaciousness. Guests can enjoy an ablution block, a communal kitchen, and a braai area. Self-catering houses have their braai area and parking.

Units are equipped with linen, towels, mosquito nets, and fans, and some have tea- and coffee facilities. Guests can also relax by the shady swimming pool, lounge, or curio shop. Scuba diving courses and charters to the reefs in Sodwana Bay are available.

Access to the lodge includes a 1.3 km sand road, and the area can be challenging for low sedans. It is advisable to check road conditions before visiting.

The unspoiled Sodwana Bay coastline offers pristine beaches and is located within the Greater St Lucia Wetland Park, close to Africa's southernmost coral reefs. Visitors can enjoy scuba diving, snorkeling, fishing, bird watching, hiking, and more. Nearby attractions include iSimangaliso Wetland Park, Lake Sibaya, and several game reserves.
