"Baie stedelike agteruitgang, tans water tekort.
"Oh what a sad place PE city center and surrounds has become. Potholes, no road markings/signs. Rubbish and vagrants. Stick to the beach areas. The lack of interest by government and municipal services is very evident here. Tourist attractions Bayworld, Fort Fredrick, etc filthy and smelly"
"Compared to Cape Town, close to the ocean, PE has no rats or cockroaches that I saw. It's safer to walk the streets at night."
"Safety is apparently a concern at the main beaches. Otherwise it has many hidden gems."
"There is avlot of charismatic places to explore in this city. Apart from the malls that we all are familiar with, there are gems that pass time in a blink of an eye, always leaving you wishing you had more time there."
Port Elizabeth is 'n baie vriendelike stad.
"The city can do more to boost its tourist attractions - add some more fun and adventure. Monuments are a little boring."
