"Beware of sand fleas & stagnant water in the tidal pool & creeks. A good storm should sort it out! Good spot to visit the shark diving operations & climbing Danger Point lighthouse!"
"A lovely seaside town with the feeling of a holiday resort that reminds me of my childhood at the beach. Lovely swimming beaches, lots of restaurants for all tastes, and a local shopping centre with all your holiday needs. The town is situated in the lovely Strandveld area of the Western Cape and Arniston, Cape L'agulhas, and Waenhuiskrans is just a little distance from it. Struisbaai is also the centre for deep-sea fishing charter boats going out of its harbour early every morning, weather permitting. It was always a real favourite of our family in the summer! I would recommend this town to anybody looking for a small town beach vacation, in a flash!"
"Dorp is baie stil, nie veel om by te woon en om te sien nie. Sou nice gewees het as daar iets binne die kamers was wat kon aanbeveel watter ander toeristebestemmings naby geleë is van waar Firlane house was. Meer is daar nie te kort nie, alles was perfek."
"Struggled a bit exploring as the streets can be tricky to navigate as they don't always flow into one another as per normal blocks - it's more like spirals with very little connecting points. Some more maps or road signs would assist in this issue."

"Hermanus is lovely - but we find Onrusrivier gives you that "holiday spirit". The residents is friendly, the beach and lagoon are great! But Davies Pool is the highlight. Voelklip Beach in Hermanus is the best for sea swimming. "
