"Ons was teleurgestel met die dorp in die algemeen, die infrastruktuur en netheid van hoofstrand laat veel te wense oor. Rommel word duidelik nie opgetel of verwyder nie. Ons het meer as een asblik omgekeer gevind. Daar is verskeie rondloperkatte te sien. Ons het ook 'n paar keer onveilig gevoel en liewer die strand verlaat. Dit wil voorkom of die munisipale strand as oornagplek deur rondlopers gebruik word, en ons is aangeraai om nie na donker op die strand te gaan nie. Die verval is ook dan seker maar tekenend van toestande elders in land, maar mens sou verwag dat die owerhede in die gebied 'n bietjie ekstra sal doen om die kwynende toerisme te red."
