Pleasurable.

Place was spotless except for ants in the kitchen but it wasn't a big issue. Should consider using a gas stove instead of an oven for load shedding purposes. Outside, there was a splash pool instead of a jacuzzi.

The place was equipped well, neat and tidy.

I would definitely go again. Everything was lovely. WiFi would have been nice.

Beautiful, peaceful and relaxing.

We as adults had a nice weekend relaxing, waking up to the sounds of birds chirping which is priceless. The kids had an amazing time swimming, playing in the park and games on the lush green grass. The facilities at 117 were also perfect, great living area, enough space for the kids to run around and for us to eat at the table as a family is what we really enjoyed. We will definitely be returning.

Was very nice. We had a great time with family but just felt the house needs a good clean. I cleaned up and wiped down cupboards because there were spider webs.

Basiese dak oor jou kop in 'n omgewing waar die huise teen mekaar geleë is.

Die blyplek is baie basies en het nie aan ons verwagtinge voldoen nie. Die messegoed en van die kombuisgerei is nie op standaard nie.

Dit was 'n heerlike naweek, alles was perfek toegerus.

Dit is die heerlikste plekkie en so baie om te doen. Ons sal nommer 117 gou weer bespreek vir 'n wegbreek.

An amazing, tranquil resort.

A beautiful resort in the beautiful Wemmershoek area. Accommodation range from old rustic to basic chalets or houses. Although it is a resort you can avoid the crowds by simply spending time at the house you booked or a private spot at the river. Parking is a bit limited. They do however make provisions for parking if you are booked in. We basically avoided the public pool areas. It looked like families were enjoying the day visiting areas. The house we stayed in is old and needs a bit of tlc like a hand towel rail and minor essentials. I will however book this place again as the owner and the resort's staff was very professional. Excellent service provided. No excessive noise. Reception for phones is a challenge. To be expected though as it's in a valley.

Lekker gebly! Oulike plekkie, net 'n aaklige reuk in die badkamer die hele naweek en die boonste badkamer was iets anders. Selfoonopvangs is nie baie goed nie en 'n braaikasrol sou baie help, maar andersins baie lekker gekuier. Alles was netjies en skoon en net 'n lekker leefhuisie. Die stoepie voor was so ontspannend en die agterste braai-area was fantasties.

Dit was baie rustig en atmosfeer was skoon, die huis was skoon en netjies en baie gerieflik. My ouers het van die rivier gehou en die kinders het in swembad gespeel.

Ons het van huisies in omgewing gehou en van die manier hoe dit gebou word en die styl daarvan. Die geriewe vir kinders en die veiligheid in die area was goed. Die bure se gasvryheid en die staff se kliëntediens was goed.

Relaxing, comfortable.

We as a family had a lovey stay, being with young kids the small deck pool was a bonus for the days we didn't wanted to spend on the resort. The place was perfectly situated in front of a park for the kids to play as well. Place had the necessary basics to use.

Beautiful, tranquil, loved the fresh air away from the city's hustle and bustle. Would recommend it to anyone. Just the no drop-off and pick-up rule should be more clear. Thanks to the owners for letting us stay a few hours longer.

Pleasant but needs upgrades.

We had a great stay and the facilities does not really accommodate the basic needs. There are not much kitchen utensils which as knives, ect. Even though it was advised to being extra bedding people dont really like traveling with more than an over night bad anymore. There was no iron and board. There is not much accommodation made for load shedding either. The jacuzzi can be fixed. I just think some things needs fixing to make the house a much better stay for guests. Other than that we had a great time and managed to get by with what we had.

The tranquility of this establishment is a must for any family who needs a break from the city rush.

Our family would definitely like to return to this establishment. The peace and quiet was exactly what we needed to recharge. The staff are very friendly and helpful. However, we were promised a jacuzzi, which didn't work.

Dit was lekker sentraal van waar ons moet gewees het.

Ek is baie ongelukkig hoe die ontvangs was by die hek toe my vrou en die ander gaste daar opdaag, hulle was met so 'n snaakse houding by die hek ontvang deur 'n dame wat daar gewerk het. Dit was of hulle nie daar hoort nie.

Ons was ongelooflik teleurgesteld met die akkommodasie.

Alles is oud en afgerem. Borrelbad het skielik 'n splash pool geword, stukkend. Twee kamers se ligte was foutief, teëls is van die mure af en gekraak op die vloer, ketel het nie gewerk nie, 2de badkamer is 'n toilet agter in gordyn op die boonste vloer. Dit was regtig een van my mees teleurstellende ondervindings - great kuierarea buite as ons die rooster kon kry vir braai. Die couple wat kom oopsluit het was baie hulpvaardig en het 'n rooster gebring, maar myle te groot om in te pas in die ronde braai. Hulle het ook nie voor die tyd die ligte of die geyser aangesit nie, gewag tot ons 19h30 opdaag in die donker met geen warm water vir die eerste 3 ure nie. Ek is vir 30 jaar in die travel trade en sien soveel potensiaal met die huis, maar dit kort 'n goeie opgradering. Kombuis self het geen braaibakke, tongs, sout en peperpotjies of suikerpotjies nie of skerp messe nie. Die twee hoofstoele op die tafel se so mank - te bang om daarop te sit. Vriende van ons het die huis skuins agter ons gehuur, met vol WiFi en stunning opgradeerde plek met werkende jacuzzi teen R2000 'n nag ook 4 persone. Dit was skrikwekkend om die twee plekke met mekaar te vergelyk - 20 meter uit mekaar en so verskillend. Daar is definitief ook nie parkering vir 2 voertuie nie. Ook geen WiFi nie.

Disappointed and angry.

We were falsely accused of loud music and when trying to explain what happened, it was not taken into consideration. We left the next day to book into another accommodation but they refused paying our day's money back when they made us feel unwelcome. I'm truly disappointed by the service rendered at De Hollandsche Molen. I won't recommend anyone going there!
