Home away from home.

Dit is so moeilik om die verblyf op te som in 'n paar woorde. 'n Mens voel tuis en op 'n mens se gemak. Die tannie is ongelooflik vriendelik, en 'n regte ouma met 'n goeie hart. Ons 2 woelige seuntjies was nie vir haar 'n probleem nie, en ons weet seuntjies kan soms "loud" wees. Die cottage is baie skoon, baie goed toegerus en die tannie gaan uit haar pad uit om dit vir 'n mens meer gemaklik te maak. Daar is ook, soos ek dit sal noem, 'n "pay it forward" wat dit meer spesiaal maak. Vorige gaste het 'n "ietsie" gelos wat die tannie in die kas los vir die volgende gaste om te gebruik, soos spices, ontbytpap, ens. Ons sal definitief die plek aanbeveel en gaan beslis weer daar oorslaap.

Perks of the country close to the city.

Lovely, peaceful stay - you really feel like you are out in the bundus although just out of Johannesburg. Comfortable, well-equipped and load shedding-free. Host exceptionally kind and helpful.

Baie lekker gebly en lekker so tussen die springbokke terwyl die vuur brand. Die gasvryheid van die gasvrou was uitstekend en die geriewe is great met alles wat jy nodig het, asook lekker privaat.

Ons verblyf was onbeskryflik fantasties. Ons was uiters gasvry ontvang en alles wat benodig was, was daar en nog vele meer. Koffie, suiker, melk en beskuit. Wow! Het nog nêrens ooit sulke goeie diens ontvang nie.

The owner is lovely, warm, considerate, and attentive. Her staff members are likewise friendly and helpful. The Stables is thoughtfully equipped for comfort and convenience. We had a tranquil stay in a serene, secure, and private setting with bountiful trees, springbok, geese, and delightful dogs. We truly enjoyed our stay!

Lovely quiet spot, with a friendly hostess and modern layout.

What a lovely quiet spot to rest while visiting family or friends in the area. The hostess is friendly and professional. You can spot springboks and rabbits on the property. And if you're missing your dogs at home, Diesel is there to keep you company!

Warmth in winter.

Stephanie's hospitality was warm, from the moment we entered the area. Even if it was cut short we loved our short stay, a great space to reflect on self with your family/friend/partner. Looking forward to our next stay.

I was at 19 on the 5th for a second time, but truly speaking the service everything is still so wonderful. Thank you guys. The palace is so refreshing, can't wait to go back again.

Our stay was pleasant, relaxing, comfortable, very peaceful and value for money.

Would like to make a suggestion that a bigger braai could be supplied. Also the water pressure by the kitchen sink could be improved.

It was a home away from home and Stephanie made us feel at home right away. Then she let us stay the whole day instead of checking out at 11am!!

Stephanie goes the extra mile to make the guests feel at home, I mean where else will you find milk in the fridge and most essentials (cornflakes, tea, sugar, salt, spices, etc) in the cupboard already! She very quickly responds to a request. The pictures don't do justice to the place, it is absolutely beautiful and spacious. I will definitely go back for some peace and quiet.

Die Studio by 19 on 5th in Walkerville is ideaal vir 'n paartjie of 'n enkelreisiger wat stilte soek. Die ruimte is gemaklik, modern, en het alles wat mens nodig het vir 'n naweek weg, of vir iemand wat vir 'n langer tyd wil wegbreek van die stad. Die gasvrou – Stephanie – is ook baie vriendelik en verwelkomend! As Kaapenaar laat dink Walkerville vir my aan 'n mooi dorpie in die Wille Weste. Beveel hierdie plek met vrymoedigheid aan!

I was so impressed with my stay at 19 on 5th.

Everything was just on point, nice and clean linen, in the kitchen was everything we needed, hospitality was amazing, the lady who was helping was so friendly. We used public transport to go there, but she picked us up at the Spa, which shocked us, we checked out at early hours in the morning and she took us to the taxi rank as well. We got a service of 5-star hotels, keep it up 19 on 5th, we will be surely back around August to celebrate my husband's birthday!

Stephanie is fantastiese gasvrou. Baie goeie waarde vir geld, skoon en netjies.

The place was so peaceful and relaxing, you are able to just be one with yourself as you admire the surroundings.

There was mosquito spray! Wow. We had a beautiful time and Stephanie's reception is so warm and welcoming.

If you want peace and quiet and love the country life, this stay is perfect. Destress and enjoy the tranquility. Stephanie has a beautiful, warm personality and nothing is too much trouble for her.

Rustige, ontspanne atmosfeer.

Ons gasvrou, Stephanie, het ons vriendelik ontvang. Ons plek was netjies en skoon en absoluut ideaal geleë aangesien ons 'n ooievaars (vir die vroue) en doeke-braai (vir die mans) gehad het op 2 verskillende plekke in die omgewing. Ek sal The Cottage enige tyd vir enige iemand aanbeveel, jy vind absoluut rustigheid vir die siel.

Rustig.

As jy opsoek is na stilte, rus en vrede, is dit beslis die plek om te wees. Geen TV is fantasties. Mensies uiters behulpsaam en bedagsaam. Alles was netjies en skoon, dit is tot na my hondekinders na 'n reënbui wou binne slaap. Ons gaan beslis weer hier tuisgaan en ek beveel dit aan vir enige een wat lief is vir die natuur en stilte.

Friendly owner and and had a lovely stay

The place was clean and much more spcious than on the photo's so it was a bonus. We had a really lovely and peaceful stay at the Cottage and Stephanie and her husband was very helpful and friendly. I will most definitely be going back again.
