Airy and large space for the whole team, but a bit more organized maintenance and checks necessary.

The stay was okay, a few things I would change including, slightly larger maybe queen size beds. When we arrived the pool was green, a few broken items, it felt like a proper inspection had not been done at all prior to our entry. Several maintenance people had to come during our stay, such an inconvenience. Staying in Zimbali is okay, though such a chore with the protocols and the queue at gate for each entrance into the estate fingerprint checks etc. We also failed to have a lunch with my brother in law at the hotel because they won't allow externals into the estate, even for drinks or anything. Fortunately many more restaurants around.

Thank you for bringing the above to our attention. When booking it is best to check the bed configuration as this is provided on the website. This will give you a clear indication on weather the property is best suited for your group booking. The pool service was called out to attend to the guests concerns. Kindy note that the large pool was clean. guests refer to the smaller feature pool which does not effect the large pool or the use of the pool. We also had terrible weather, heavy rain and storm which contributed to the pool been discolored. We called the pool service out and this was resolved within a day. Guests gave us an excellent score in all areas which will indicate they left as happy guests. The property was checked before their arrival. They did bring a few items which were broken form the previous guests who left on the same day they arrived. This including a chipped mug and plate. No structural or property damage.

Rip off.

Nice place but: Bedding not changed regularly (only changed after seven days of stay). Cleaning service does not clean properly (did the dishes in the morning and made up the beds and then left - mopping and sweeping not done daily - ten days of stay and this only done on 7th day). Cleaning service does not have cleaning materials such as dishwasher tables, cleaning sponges etc. Pots and pans dirty and in a dismal state (disgusting actually - luckily I took my own pots). Not enough cutlery and glasses to cater for everyone - we had a 8 sleeper with for example three teaspoons and three wine glasses. Wi-Fi did not work for a week. Told you get one toilet paper per bathroom for 10 day stay for 8 people. No change of towels - when towels are dirty it gets taken away and washed but in the meantime there are no towels until the next day. No Staysoft for towels to be washed by cleaning service. Unit neglected with damp on walls and mound on shower floor in main bedroom - needs some good maintenance and a paint. No inventory so no way to see what is supposed to be there and what not and no way of knowing they going to blame you for something that was not there to begin with. No golf cart despite enquiring if there was one and being told ‘correct’.

Since this review the cleaning has changed and along with that the house has been maintained well. More cutlery and crockery was bought. Whatever problems the client had brought to our attention was addressed. During this time period of the year it is difficult to get service providers to corporate. Therefore Wi-Fi issues were beyond our control, however we were doing as much as we could to have the connect back up and running.
